The pusher feels out of place and poorly integrated, I find it distracts too much from the overall purity. Thankfully it's beyond my means so I won't have to deal with it!
To your point, I wonder if the designers at JLC considered incorporating the concealed slider used on the Duoface models
would certainly be a clean look, but might not have been feasible (?)
