I wish I had one...
The JLC Reverso, apart from being a gorgeous watch any way you look at it imho, is also one of those iconic pieces that are instantly recognizable. It's one of those watches that you can hand down to your child, granchild, close friend, whoever -- it is a true classic that will run practically forever if taken care of. The JLC Reverso line tells me that the wearer cares about exquisite design and has a complete appreciation for fine and flawless manufacture. Alas, I do not own a JLC of any kind yet -- but I'm working on it!

Well, the 24 hour subdial is quite intuitive, I find. On the picture, you see it is 4 AM very quickly.
As for the hour hand, yes, I find it a bit too short, I am more disturbed by the fact that it is blue painted, though... Best, my friend. Nicolas

Tough call between this version or the previous iteration of the TTR1931 models, but an absolute winner regardless
I think this is EVERYONE'S favorite...
One complaint that I've had for a few years now is that the original Duo and it's update (with the pusher) (271 reference), had the "Day/Night" subdial correctly oriented, so that night ran from 18:00 hours to 6:00 hours, and day ran from 6:00 hours to 18...
I replied above, as for the day night indicator.
As for the picture of the trigger, those I took were not good. I will do it when I visit the Manufacture, promised! Best, Dean. Nicolas

Thanks for the extensive write up and comparison Nico. I have to say, I still have problems with this new one. The sword hands, which Rob mentioned, don't work for me on either dial. I can't seem to get past them.
And it might be my own crazy taste, but I love the pushers on the old models. And, as Rob also pointed out, the round subsections dial vs the square. To my tastes they were very close to perfection with the old. And this may be a case of the perfect spoil...
Well, for humble me.. Ticking most of my boxes.. Just a few things, as discussed..
+1 on the short hand, but that\'s a given. The other main thing are the round subsecond dials @ 6. To me the pure looking Art Deco-type rectangular ones, still are more attractive & coherent.. The trigger mechanism is a really smart solution, and time set...

..whether I would part from my first Series Duo Face, which has been with me since early 80ies, I am not yet sure.. But I am tempted, very much tempted .- My other option ( as I have already a Duo), is the Reverso 1948, which is however, another animal.. ...
I understand your dilemma. The TT Reverso 1948 is a good option.
