My Master Date was factory serviced last January, and the one year warranty runs in a couple of weeks. The watch is running slow, about -12/day. I'm trying to decide whether to send the watch back to Dallas for what would hopefully be a warranty covered regulation/repair, or let my local guy take a look at it. I'm hesitant to send it back to JLC if only because of the potential turn around time. If the watch only needs to be regulated, my guy will do it while I wait. This is my first JLC (I'm loving it), so am I correct in my assumption that regulation of the movement is a fairly straight forward proposition, such that a good watch maker can handle the task? Your thoughts are appreciated.
