Am not sure, if I understood clearly.. Is it the line, looking like a hand (eg seconds) going from one day/night end to the one opposite..
.. Somehow this bar is a bit confusing,
but now I understand its function.

I have appended a macro pic from website: on the
black dialled WT it is dark grey, while on the blue
dial it’s blue as well.
A bit strange as it runs all through the dial‘s middle:
One clearly sees that bar, between 8 & 6 (?)
On the blue dial the bar is blue, of course
Any comment, why this couldn‘t be hidden ?
(Only way to move the disc, which I doubt)

I would have love to see something more daring aesthetically speaking even if it's a difficult thing to do when you have to reinterpret and icon. But the blue dials are truly gorgeous. I have to see them in real to have a better feeling

I love the entire line, finally JLC moved in the right track
it's taken them some time to get back to the sport line but the wait has been worth it. it really made my day! looking forward to see these guys in the metal specially the World Timer (blue) and the 50th Anniversary. Thanks for the report Nico! Fernando

Nothing in common with a Polaris. The Polaris automatic without date is way too big IMHO. That’s a pity. 3 mm too big. The blue one could have been really a killer

I really like that fact the there are many options for the straps....
Bracelet, rubber and leather which make much more sense than the deep sea line that only comes with a leather strap for a dive watch. Well done JLC!
