I have a certain affinity for chronos with only 2 subdials too, so the layout is just right. I have been tempted by the other recent vintage efforts, and this one likely will find me sooner or later. I also find myself drawn to the 1931 Grande Reverso... ...

Definitely needs to be tried out on the wrist before passing judgement. Same with the Deep Sea chrono (having said that, it will obviously sell). The triple date Reverso is a sure winner aesthetically although the 976-sized case isn't friendly to my wrist...

nee "Master Grande Taille"... my hope is that the proportions of the original 1992-2003 version would come through on the new one. I didn't like the wider bezel of the 40mm, and was hoping for a more slanted bezel, which I find more elegant. -Dean

The Master RdM is a nice size bump, brings that model back from the brink! I really like the skeletonized reverso, reminds me of the Reverso Art Deco, though I'd always prefer skeletonizing without engraving (see the recent Piaget), but JLC will never do ...

I agree with the masses..JLC is following its own and braving a very nice path with their pieces.. looking forward to more on the Duometre à Spherotourbillon and that atmos is just divine... Thank you for the summary and looking forward to more...

Nicolas, thanks for bringing many beautiful watches to us. To me, the master control is so balance and clean. It is timeless. I like the stainless steel version because the blue second hand blends well with the dial colour. The deep sea chronograph is so ... 

And JLC still has to improve their strap, definitely. But at least there are already some nice improvements on the cases, sizes, volumes, well, in a word, watches. Even if a strap is a true part of the watch. Best, Nicolas.

Same thickness? Isn't it supposed to be UT? I made a Google search and found out the "regular" RDM is 9.3 mm thick, while the "UT" version would be 9.85 (I got the same info from two different sources).

The two numeric 9 and 12 are now gone, too. It is no doubt bigger and just as classier as other Master Control but I still like the previous version a bit more.

to a brand i used to admire. they've done everything so well this year , in my opinion. better presence doesn't mean "big", especially for a small wristed , like myself. i see balance and well-proportions in the updates for the classic watches. the watche...

Seems that JLC people Werent busy watching THE RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES thus they were more focused on their creation ... lots of nice pieces in there... ill revisit some other time to check them in depth but right now im under the magic of Reverso ...

Your passion is always appreciated. I must admit this isn't my favourite year from JLC, but maybe that's because the most exciting piece is the Duometre Spherotourbillon and I trust it is a very elite piece and unfortunately not for me. Some nice tangible... 

But keep in mind that next year will be the 180th anniversary of the brand, and that last year was quite rich. Some of their watches from the 2012 let a strong impression. Just to help us to wait till next year. As for the Chronometer, I totally agree wit...
