I am pleased the brand is finally thinking about the Duometre lineand I hope this is the harbinger of more interesting models. Would love to see other complications in the line (I have a few in mind). I have made my choice to keep up my sampling.

In my opinion it’s the crown
Wouldn’t you want a more substantial crown like the 1st generation considering you wind the watch in both directions?
For me, the new crown gives this new duometre a Frankenstenwatch look.
Its appearance doesn't match the modern lines of the master grande tradition case... and yet I like disruptive things, but here the two together don't work. It's like a wart on a pretty face....

As I previously commented, these designs make me wonder if they were generated by ChatGPT. One has to marvel though, at their brilliant achievement of gold-to-steel conversion alchemy without raising prices! Yes, JLC continue to surprise.

I can't stand the dial cut outs
It doesn't show much of the movement underneath and instead gives the whole watch an "evil laughing clown" look.
