yes, that Longines Diver is a great piece, but you can't really compare a JLC calibre with 2824.
They really are far apart. In a similar but different way, I just got a LHD Pelagos on a whim, sick of waiting for a Seadweller (too slow out of the blocks). It gains 4s/w and is impressing me with its Ti build and bracelet tech, freesprung balance and silcon hairspring. Now the benefit of a SD is a much more painful question to answer.

I would have love to see something more daring aesthetically speaking even if it's a difficult thing to do when you have to reinterpret and icon. But the blue dials are truly gorgeous. I have to see them in real to have a better feeling

Nothing in common with a Polaris. The Polaris automatic without date is way too big IMHO. That’s a pity. 3 mm too big. The blue one could have been really a killer

I really like that fact the there are many options for the straps....
Bracelet, rubber and leather which make much more sense than the deep sea line that only comes with a leather strap for a dive watch. Well done JLC!
