In terms of watch, the villeret is my choice, but not with the MOP dial. I just think that its clearly appealing on the first look, but you get quickly tired of it. Also it removes a key point of the villeret: perfect lisibility.
IMO mouvement and finish of the Villeret is way beyond that of the Rieussec, which is already a fantastic watch.

Rieussec is my favorite of the two.
It's got a unique look to it, and the silicon escapement provides a point of additional technical interest. Cheers, Daos

Actually, my vote goes to Villeret.
The blue colour combination on the dial is just superb and of course its movement. (of course you must have no issue with the price) Strangely, the more I look at Rieussec, the less desire I have to own it. Regards Ling

As a matter of simple aesthetic preference, the blue mother of pearl dial just doesn't speak to me, but setting that aside and focusing on watch against watch, I strongly prefer the Villeret.

I guess I like like the way the Blue MOP looks but I bet I would tire of it quickly so perhaps you are both right. It will be a tough choice... Best, Mike
