Baselworld 2016: H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time

H. Moser & Cie. adds to its Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time family with a lacquered white dial decorated with Roman numerals, adding a neo-vintage look whose traditional design harks back to H. Moser's historic pocket watches.

A NEO-VINTAGE DESIGN FOR A TIMELESS TOURBILLON: H. MOSER & CIE. PRESENTS THE VENTURER TOURBILLON DUAL TIME

In 2015, H. Moser & Cie. embraced a neo-vintage design for its Venturer Small Seconds, introducing a lacquered white dial adorned with Roman numerals. This watch offers a modern twist on the historic pocket watches created by Heinrich Moser. With this design addition for the Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time, H. Moser & Cie. has reinforced this family lineage. These models share the same design identity: a lacquered white dial with Roman numeral indices, curved hands in blued steel and chamfered detailing on the flange around the inner bezel. This accentuates the dial, with its curved edges, making it appear to float weightlessly. H. Moser & Cie. has also kept the same, ultra fine character font for the indices, giving the piece a modern touch. With its white gold case topped with a domed sapphire crystal, this Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time retains the Venturer collection's classic design, inspired by the convex shapes of the 1960s.

Designed in two parts, the lacquered white dial of the Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time works on two levels. The lower part of the dial is traditionally chamfered, to add depth to the piece. Opening up into an inverted smile, faintly recalling a moustache, the lower part of the dial reveals the tourbillon cage. Giving the impression that you are diving deep inside the movement, the skeleton bridge reveals the beauty of the HMC 802 self-winding calibre powering this timepiece. Equipped with a dual time function, this in-house movement is fitted with a Straumann® Double Hairspring, for improved accuracy and isochronism, guaranteeing a minimum power reserve of 3 days. To facilitate after-sales service, H. Moser & Cie. has also equipped this creation with an interchangeable tourbillon module, a kind of "plug & play" option for Haute Horlogerie.

With this Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time model, with a lacquered white dial and Roman numerals, H. Moser & Cie. has given birth to a timeless model, which is both classic in its approach to Haute Horlogerie and modern in terms of its refined neo-vintage design.
