Coinciding with a successful exhibition at the Kremlin Museums, BOVET 1822 now brings one of its new Ilgiz F. enamel painted timepieces to the Wynn & Co. in Las Vegas for a limited showing.
From the Kremlin to the Wynn: One of a Kind Enamel BOVET Timepiece by Ilgiz F. Travels to Wynn & Co. During Couture Show
The fruitful collaboration between Swiss watchmaking House BOVET 1822 and renowned Russian jeweler and goldsmith Ilgiz Fazulzyanov yielded an unparalleled collection of grand feu enamelwork timepieces, featured in a solo exhibition at the Kremlin Museums beginning in late March 2016. The notable show marked the first Kremlin Museums exhibition to highlight a single jeweler since Peter Carl Fabergé in 1917. The BOVET and Ilgiz F. timepieces encompass delicate floral motifs for women, while a second masculine grouping features striking grand feu enamel paintings of “The Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” Each timepiece is crafted to the exacting standards of craftsmanship and artistry shared by BOVET Owner Pascal Raffy and his collaborator, artist Ilgiz Fazulzyanov.
The Kremlin Museums exhibition will continue until July 31, 2016, but the American public will have the opportunity to see one of these extraordinary works of horological art at Wynn and Co. during Couture Las Vegas, June 2-6. The limited Las Vegas showing coincides with Couture Time, during which the House of BOVET will present its new 2016 novelties to the American market for the first time.
About BOVET
Since its foundation in 1822, BOVET has artfully combined the most sophisticated mechanisms with the finest craftsmanship, employing artisanal techniques such as gem-setting, engraving, and miniature painting.
Under the visionary guidance of Owner Pascal Raffy, BOVET acquired renowned Manufacture DIMIER 1738 in 2006 and immediately began producing the Maison’s movements, hair springs, and dials in-house. His passion for Haute Horlogerie also led to the introduction of the remarkable Amadeo® Fleurier convertible case system, which draws inspiration from the exquisite 19th century pocket watches produced by BOVET for the Chinese.
Today, BOVET demonstrates its excellence through varied collections that encompass models as emblematic and remarkable as the Braveheart®, OttantaSei and Shooting Star tourbillons, to name just a few of its icons.
