Master watchmaker Roger Dubuis celebrates 20th Anniversary with North America visit
The year 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the luxury Swiss watchmaker, Manufacture Roger Dubuis. As a part of the celebration, the founder and creator of the brand, Mr. Dubuis himself, will host a series of intimate dinners in North America to share the secrets and history of the brand with avid watch connoisseurs and collectors in select cities: New York, Chicago, and Miami.

The widely-acclaimed master watchmaker founded his eponymous firm in 1995 with the intent to certify all Roger Dubuis calibres with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève. After a hiatus in 2005, Mr. Dubuis returned to the brand in 2011 to support the revival of the Manufacture under Richemont’s ownership in a mentoring role to the elite watchmaking team led by Gregory Bruttin, Director of Movement Development. In addition to imparting his immense watchmaking expertise, guidance, and vision to the team, Mr. Dubuis also takes on a unique role in embodying the heart and soul of the maison.

Over two decades, the Manufacture has built a reputation today as a pioneer of contemporary Haute Horlogerie, combining technical complexity with avant-garde design in each timepiece, 100% of which continue to be certified with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève keeping with the founder’s original vision.

Last year, the Manufacture released the Hommage collection, a dynamic range of timepieces based on the very first model created by Mr. Dubuis in 1995. As the name implies, Mr. Dubuis based this original model as a means to honor historical watchmaking traditions and the individuals who perpetuate them.
Today, Hommage is a pillar collection of the brand and an expression of the Manufacture’s admiration for its founder and the ultimate tribute to the classic watchmaking traditions. The newest addition to the Hommage family, the Hommage Minute Repeater Tourbillon Automatic, serves as the peak of collection. The sapphire crystal caseback features Mr. Roger Dubuis’ signature metallized in a pink gold color and is issued in a 20-piece limited edition to commemorate Manufacture Roger Dubuis’ 20th anniversary.
The newly available Hommage collection will serve as the central theme during Mr. Dubuis’ intimate dinner receptions across several key North American cities.
