It is my understanding that the last batch of 339's had the caseback redone by Panerai before being released. I was informned that mine was in that last batch but could not confirm what new or improved process was undertaken. I would have assumed that the 375 would then move forward and was advised of this a couple months back.

Problems with the composite (the mishaps with the 339 didn't help much). I've also been after this model for....ever..but it looks like it will never see the...light of day...I have also heard that Panerai has even considered producing the model in cerami...
