Good P.3000 model
P.3000 calibre is the most robust calibre in PANERAI and Important while a lot of fancy models are created with reduced cost movements.
P.3000 requires 47mm case and appreciate PANERAI's effort to make this new model.
But then, I still wonder why not just make 372 back to the liineup.
Looks no power reserve indicator in the back. I suspect just want to save the cost to cut the function and add the price for patina steel.

In terns of fitting of 47mm case, it is depend on overall shape rather than diameter itself. Actually PAM00372/422 fits well.

Agreed, 44mm probably would have sparked more interest in particular from newer buyers. Otherwise, it is a curious choice of release imho.🤔
Not sure what patina steel is exactly and how it differs from previous 372. I do wonder what else they will be releasing, although pricing will limit my interest at this point in my journey.

and it essentially it appears as though the surface has been sand blasted and then polished over? It looks slightly matte but feels smooth to touch
