Officine Panerai

Yes and No... but majority are younger I'd say...

Arnie is in his 60s as well... but I do admit, you do see many fresh grads 21-25 rushing to grab one to be cool. Then, it's the brand demographics. It's meant to look young and cool. Then when you get to 50, I have also heard a few others saying that PAM is too mickey mouse and they start to wear Patek, FPJ... I must admit, they are more posh and polished while PAM is more rugged. They can co exist (like having a 382 for the weekend) but I have heard numerous times that when you are 50, you want to feel "I have arrived" and not wear the same watch the 21years old fresh grad is wearing. Not to be snobby, but the entry level for PAM is fairly low compared to Patek. Hence, the demographics will be fairly different. It's like you can always buy an AUDI R8 V10 but then it is an AUDI that is also driven by many 21 years old who first start out (TT). Audi, great car. Then when you get to a Ferrari, you seldom see 21 years old buying one (except those using papa's money/driving papa's car). The fact is that, when you talk Patek, your money up front is way more and usually, people who have achieved and who have paid off their kid's education loan or mortgage would go for one. Certainly not when you are 21. At least not to me but I could be wrong. PAM is more popular because it has a good price point/product/brand recognition balance.
