Both watches are very interesting timepieces.
The 26.5 has a very rare type of case with the movement incrusted inside the back-case.
The 23.4 is also very nice but i have doubts about the second hand. Otherwise very nice watches!

Dear Collectors, I found these watches on internet market place and I bought them. Firstly, are they military (or only style) or aren't? Movements are 23.4SC and 26.5SOB T2 (B). Secondly, do I need to refurbish the dials or it is better to let them in the...

Hi Janos, IMO this dial design is not military and was quite common during that time. Leave the dials "as is" - they are not so bad that it would require a total restoration. regards erich

nice condition dial for late 30's/40's watches
not military, but in the style of..... not that it matters. wear them and enjoy them G
Definitely not military - not that it matters though....
A nice find - don't refurbish the dials as it will reduce the value significantly. I would suggest a gentle brush-clean of the dials, a light polish of the cases and perhaps new crystals. Enjoy them for what they are - vintage watches. Cheers Andrew
