I was reading articles on lunar dust and how NASA had reported how much of a problem it was due to its electro-static nature and how abrasive it was. Apparently it wore through outer layer of gloves and scratches/damaged equipment. It stuck to everything. I never read anywhere that it caused any problems with the Speedy Pro or that it damaged the watch by penetrating the seals. Previously I posted a concern about handling insulation and was worried if particles of mineral wool or fiber glass could damage the watch by penetrating the seals, but by comparison to lunar dust, no competition. Lunar dust seems far worse than whatever a watch can be exposed to here. I am no scientist but obviously water molecules are smaller than that of dust and mineral wool/fiber glass. If the Speedy Pro could keep out lunar dust than I would think exposure to mineral wool and fiber glass insulation is not a concern. Thought I would share.
