Omega 30t2rg and 30t2 - a couple of stunners !
I just thought I would share these pictures of my vintage 30t2 and 30t2rg Chronometre with you all.Both watches were purchased from the very excellent - 'Ted's Vintage Watches' site - he is first class ambassador for vintage watches and omega in particular,very fairly priced,honest and full of useful information.Ted Hopkins has guided me through the maze of vintage watch collecting and in particular,these 1940's 30mm movements.Despite been several thousand miles away,in the UK,I have had no problems with the service received and would commend him to any of your members,whom are newly taking the plunge into this hobby - I commend him to you,as I have been on the receiving end of less honest dealers and do not want others to make the same mistakes ! - I recently acquired a 16mm 14k bracelet,that is fitted to the 30t2rg - quite a lucky find - the 30t2 is a lovely rose gold and has a superb period mesh bracelet also.
