Dear all, I recently trief to know more about this other Omega watch that I have. As it is for the other one (see last thread), I have great difficulties to identify it (as opposed to all my other Omega watches that are quite "standard" or common, so to s...

...Dial looks correct and is a rarer black one. Case is nice, too. Minutes hand is a replacement, don't know if an original can be found. Movement and case reference match up as well. If the price is right, go for it. gatorcpa

....it's the only part of that watch that is correct. If only you could put them both together, gatorcpa

To me, the hands (minute, hour, second) of both watches really seem to be identical! I will try to find a description in the famous giant omega book : )

...take a look only at the minutes hands. Note that the one on the black dial watch doesn't taper thinner towards the center like the white one. There is a name for this style of hands, but I don't know the name offhand. gatorcpa

I see what you mean! There are better pictures of the dial I tried to take with my binocular magnifier. I think the hands get thinner toward the center, as they should according to your description. Do these pictures confirm that the hands are correct, or...  

I have also been concerned with this strange asymmetry at 6 o clock, even though the dial seems to be original. (it seems that the inscriptions/drawings on the dial are not painted over the dial, but faded on it (see pic 3), so I hardly imagine it could h...  

...from even the magnified photos you've provided. Could be originals, could be replacements. Just can't tell for sure. Don't know what to say about the dial either. I would need to compare it with a known original, up close and in person. This is one of ... 

Though it is simple, it looks good.
