;-)) I can probably give you "hope" since with my girlfriend (with whom I've been together a personal record of 5.5 years! :-) it all happened by chance/miracle this past Christmas break....whereas until then she couldn't care less about watches! :-))
She bought me that Rolex by surprise a few days before Christmas (the green OP41), got of course very fast a Rolex from me in return in Milano (thanks to a bunch of people who helped with the "logistics", BTW!!), and finally, the day before we flew back to the US, she even got herself a beautiful Ladies Nautilus 7010 from another one of my ADs!
Since we are back, things only went downhill....she now reads all kinds of watch sites in English and Korean, she speaks about Patek like me, posts daily wristshots as her WhatsApp status (same here), and yesterday she even asked me about the 2022 run-out list!! ;-))) It's almost getting scary my friend, and believe me, it was *totally* unexpected!! 
So my best advice is: just keep talking about watches all day in your wife's presence, show her and let her try on your pieces periodically, and then maybe...suddenly...a "miracle" happens! But I hope that if such miracle does happen to your wife, then she'll get a more moderate form of the "watch virus" than my girlfriend did! ;-))))
