.... or rather i've heard that if a name or something is crossed off of the cert or it's altered that they wont honor it, meaning that if something were to happen in the first two years from the date on the cert, they wouldn't cover the repair and it would be out of pocket... i'm sure you can get it serviced, it just will cost you.
the lack of 2yr warranty might compensate for the deal you got on the gray market.. so it's a gamble. Good luck and take care of it!
