but in the Patek universe this has to be considered a relative bargain. Regardless of metal. A perpetual Chrono will cost triple and "only difference" is the perpetual module which in exchange you get a power reserve indicator and a day/night indicator... yes the overall finish and movement is a different standard but you get a look that is younger and more lifestyle adapted to many newer buyers. Look at what Nautilus goes for in the secondary market and 5960 is a bargain, most are not fortunate enough to buy one at retail price after all... so the 5960 is a fantastic value proposition even though I agree with your point it is a high nominal value level piece...
I have to say after owning a P and an A for some time now that they are both spectacular pieces. Versatile and under the radar and never boring...

I am a 5960 lover, but no very with the bracelet... It's top and light with strap. And congratulations for your duo 5980a/5960a, very cool. Same mouvement but very différent spirit and design. But both are so cools ! ...

Did a strap, too. But I had to realize that the case has a ugly hole for the bracelet attachments. But I like the bracelet a lot. So no problem for me. Your combo is beautiful! Best Temus
