1. 12 SC is not the 1st PPC sweeps seconds mvt but it is the 1st one made in series
2. It is a 12 120 mvt given to V.Piguet for the sweeps mechanism work to be added on until 27 SC (100% PPC)launch in 1949
3. We are talking about a 60years old caliber, so the reliability has to be compared to that time standards and also for which purpose a caliber was made
4. Some of these movements wear cased in waterproof cases (screwed backs) as ref565, more like a sport watch, but only a few survived, it will be easier to find them with the 27SC (ref565 late series, ref2483,ref2508, ref2533, ref2555, ref2582 & ref3483)
