I came very close to buying one in Manhattan a few years ago. In rose gold, I think that is a very special and beautiful example of Patek Philippe. Congratulations!

You never know sometimes AD will show a gesture of appreciation by giving you a nice treat first then hope you “understand” where they’re coming from. Of course I don’t mean that to the new owner and I see this is true love of the watch so he bought it. ...
Sure, and I'm all for everyone being open on all fronts, it's IMO the only way to go (and the only way to establish a solid relationship with an AD, who often are also not in an easy position)...
You just buy a watch if you want that specific watch, not because you hope for something bigger to come with it... Besides that from what I understand, even big customers with multiple Patek purchases at the same AD are not going to receive the red 5167, ...

i pre-order this patek even before this Singapore limited edition is launch. i bought it cos i like the brown dial with rose gold. in fact, i went to check out the platinum model (blue and black dial) and i don't like it.
