I too did not know that it existed until I saw it. And the fact that it does not have an outer glass ring like the current 5180 and 7180 I feel makes it more attractive. I love watches where the movement fills up the case. To me it shows that the watch was made with no compromise taking every factor into account and was not made especially larger just to cater for the wrist size.
