I'm doing a movie in my head...
Actually I was very convinced by what I saw at the SIHH 2012 from Piaget. The past year movie had some strong characters:
A new line (the Gouverneur) in the collection, some nice Polo... but the star of the show was the Altiplano Ultra-Thin Skeleton:
When I look back on this 2012 collection, I believe that the Gouverneur Tourbillon is growing on me: the combo made by the Flying Tourbillon and the Moonphase display managed to create an intriguing dial. On top, a fast complication which does a full revolution every minute. At the bottom, a slow complication with a poetic dimension... and the whole housed in the superb Gouverneur case!
The question I have now is to know if the Gouverneur collection will be enlarged, if the Altiplano Automatic will be presented in a smaller case, if a new complication will join the Emperador collection in addition of the Minute repeater... a lot of questions but I'm sure that at the end the 2013 movie will be as good as the 2012 one!
In the meantime:
