When I initially brought up this idea, some wondered whether it would be too expensive to produce a scratch proof case. Well, it turns out it has already been done ... A friend just told me about a very small company that makes watches out of actual tungs... 

Great idea but watches are real ugly I would rather have a watch that scratches.

Whether or not you think those watches are ugly, the point is that it is an example of a scratch proof case made of tungsten. So, it could be done, and it could be done. Why though would you want a watch that can scratch? Eric von Schonberg
