Yeah, you could go that way with the comparison aesthetically...
but in actuality they are opposites I think. The 27 being as much a contradiction unto itself as the Merc. A utilitarian complicated racing machine on the wrist built primarily for withstanding huge shocks where as the Enzo needs a glass like surface to drive on in order to stay in one piece!
The G55 does off roading better than any other 4x4 yet does 0-60 in 5-5 seconds gripping the road like a vice. The fuel consumption however, is the equivalent of RMs servicing costs! Actually that's a bit unfair as they have fixed a dropped smashed up RM002 recently for me quite reasonably actually.
For the record....

just as the rm27 is without doubt my favorite watch of all time (though admittedly I am still in the honey moon period of having only had it for a few months) if I had to choose between my Porsche Turbo, G55 and last in series wide body Bentley Azure Mull...
be careful ...

... photographying your watch while driving at 120km/h might not be the safest thing to do. Actually, wearing a RM while driving is not safe: it diverts your attention from the road ... but sooooo enjoyable ;-)
