RD probably getting the attention these pieces deserve
RD’s gamble when he went out of his way to put his name on the watch deserves recognition in my opinion. Too often people focus on the watch itself but not enough credit is given when someone attempts to change the landscape of the brands. This was remember in a time where there was a lot less marketing exposure etc.Sharing some of my own pieces

I noticed too. The “tastemakers” on IG and elsewhere have determined these RD deserve more attention.
I wish they hadn’t, as I’d have liked to pick one up at some point. Beautiful watch.

It is a pity that the ethos of the brand has since changed. These watches had always been undervalued and were pretty expensive when brand new so I could never figure out why their used values were so low. Yes, some of the complicated ones had reliability...
Richemont could do a lot to reinvigorate RD if they looked back, not forward.

My compliments. RD is on an interesting route. Seeing only good design which contains originality, creativity, and prosperity. While the Sympathy i read, uprises in value, it is remarkable. Perhaps i never wear a RD, but see what RD does, it is not bad.

Frankly, I think that only a handful of dealers/collectors are behind the pump up in price, not just RD, but in FPJ for example... Unfortunately, there is very little transparency and nobody regulates the watch market. Nice watch nonetheless
