Rolex

the various Rolex subs seem to me to be the most common luxury watch that I spot on a day to day basis. And I'm sure a few of them are fake, but quite often what I think is a Rolex on closer inspection turns out to be another brand that has borrowed heavi...

Thanks for giving us some lights about the Story of the Sub, and for that great comparison with the Milspec FF... The shots you take about these 2 watches are gorgeous. Very interesting. I think I won't often see your posts, as the virus is close to catch...

Another question, if i may: With the Panerai 1936 Radiomir reissue from last year. I think I am right in that the original was modelled in a style similar to an earlier Rolex. Did the original Rolex have mixed Roman and Arabic numerals on the dial or was ...  

to my knowledge ref. 3646 is a Rolex watch made for Panerai. (Photo Mike Wood) You can find "california dials" on other Rolex watches from the 1940's. To me, this kind of dial is a typical Rolex feature. (Photo Antiquorum)...
