i am just thanking my AD for allocating one for me. I think it is very clear in my post.
It's also not that hard a watch to get, depending on the the customer.
I interchange rarity with hard to get sometimes without thinking. My apologies. However, you get my point on my previous post. As I said, my AD has them in stock, but he has a waitlist.
That's an interesting fact or insight
From what I have heard of stories so far, the Daytona C is indeed a hot item. But if you are a valued customer that bought several pieces from the AD, they can actually prioritize your allocation request and "queue jump" you once there are new arrivals.

We get so many posts from people who only have a "passing" interest in extremely hard to get watches and then say they just walked into an AD and out they go with one( in this case two days). Now the ADs are holding them back. I cannot speak to the Rolex ...

I think daytonas have and will remain a hard to get model ever if rolex keeps giving one per AD a month. It's been like that for years and seems to carry on forever, so let's get used to it and smile, buying one with a premium now will not be a bad move, ...
The previuos model
maybe. The new Ceramics are shipping much less. Some ADs say they haven not gotten a white dial even yet. The black is better but not by much. All the ADs tell me they just cannot get them here in the US.
