Rolex

This looks like a banner year for Rolex at Basel-- Single Red Sea Dweller, Stainless steel GMT "Coke" and a Day Date annual calendar all catch my interest in a big way... especially the Coke.

Single Red SD shd be interesting.

Nobody will know a thing until the second it is shown at the show....rumors are one thing but nobody has ever predicted what Rolex release. Obviously the usual "I would like" threads but it's never been a prediction. We'll see shortly Andy.

In addition, Rolex's Instagram feed has shown a GMT themed photo in its last 6 posts. This is what it did with the Daytona last year.

My main interest this year is what they will do for the 50th Sea Dweller anniversary Yours, Andy.

Rolex are not famous for repeating the past.? Interesting wait for sure.

So I am 100% sure whatever they do will be perfection.....no doubt whatsoever. Whether I could justify ordering one straight away I'm not sure....I had a very good year last year with the Everose Yacht Master and Daytona...!!! Andy.

"pretty much the same as before" What a shame. Rolex has so much great un-tapped history that could be brought to light in new and beautiful ways.

I predicted these many many years ago right here in Purists! Its actually quite easy to forecast the future Simply because Rolex makes tiny changes every year I also talked about a ceramic Daytona My predictions also include at some stage a new 39mm Oyste...  

wish rolex brings back its annual chrono watches or a re issue of the mil sub with swords hand that would be epic.

I really hope for this. But with the SD I really hope they have made it special.
