In my very humble opinion, functions aside, for the SD, the dial does not match your skin tone as well as the DJ. Maybe the steel blue or black dial SD might match better. But follow your heart.

Hi guys. In a dilemma. Happy owner of a sky dweller. But somehow now finding it too bulky for my wrist and as a result just not wearing it much. Tried a friends day date. Really like the proportions of it on my small wrist. Could use some help. Thanks you...

If you have any doubts, I think you already answered yourself. The SD looks massive on your wrist, for me, the DD looks much more balanced. Vte

Or trade it at your local dealer. I’ve learned that a too-bulky watch and thus not wearing it much are two factors that time will not change — and wrist size is a skeletal thing that isn’t likely to change either. Easier to change the watch! Best of luck ...
The Date Date 40 fits your wrist better.
But you are not alone: I have myself the DD 40 which is a good fit but I also could not wear the Sky-Dweller with good proportions on my 16.5 cm wrist.

may be your subconscious telling you to get rid of the Sky-Dweller?

wrong with the SD, but in my opinion the DD looks better on your wrist.
For me the DD fits much better
on your wrist. The SD is too big and bulky for you. Even more as it is in massive gold. Simply too much. IMHO. Best Thomas

I do love the Sky Dweller, but tried it on several times and is definitely not built for my wrist 😪
