Perhaps it's luck?
The Rolex GMT II I purchased new in December 2008 is not as accurate as my Breitling Superocean Steelfish (1/3 the price) or my Ulysse Nardin at the same price. I think its as likely that your Milgauss is not designed better, rather it is one that comes out on average where it ought to. Isn't it gravity that influences the movement and gravity remains a law thats tough to break.
