Rolex

I am in abit of a dilemma now. Have always wanted to add a chronograph to my collection as it is something which I sorely lacks. I have done some research and have shortlisted the Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue and the BB Chrono. Reasons for choosing them are...  

It’s a much more interesting (and modern) movement. Long power reserve, column wheel, vertical clutch, supposedly designed by the engineers that also helped make Rolex’s Daytona calibre (albeit for Breitling). The black dial w/ steel case is a very safe c... 

Also, it was designed with a focus on repairability, so it has some features that I think contributed to Tudor’s decision to use it; auto-centering of chrono parts, partially modular design, etc.

Don’t think you’ll ever get bored of it, classic design.

I have tried the BB Chrono at least 5 times since its launch. But something always hold me back from pulling the trigger.

I just feel the other two remind me of other watches. The heritage chrono is a faithful representation not trying to be anything else. Bill

Followed by the GMT. For some reason I was never turned on by the bb chrono. It always seemed to be trying to hard if that makes sense. So many things going on at once

recommend as follows; -Tudor BB Chrono - because it is beautiful, robust, water resistant, supermodern chronograph movement. Downside --> thick and chunky. -Tudor Chrono Heritage - stunningly beautiful but mostly in summertime i would say. Also a bit chun... 

... The GMT is a superb watch and beautiful design, interesting complication... but not a chrono. BUT... main thing in your purchase decision is which of these three beautiful watches is the one YOU like better! You can´t go wrong with any of them, but as... 

Will definitely follow my heart for this purchase and try not to let the technical aspect sway my decision. Ultimately I must be happy to wear and look at the watch daily instead of just telling myself the movement is superior. Somemore the movement can't... 

What will you measure with it?

Wanting a chronograph is mainly for its look.

they are all to big for you're wrist, you need a 38mm or under chrono imho

The THC doesn't looks or feels much bigger than my Sub.

Use the rotating bezel for second time zone

Both didn’t have a wait list. The BB GMT is nice but ultimately I didn’t went for that as what I wanted to add is a chronograph.
