There was just some humidity inside the case. I noticed it when washing the hands with cold water.
I think they changed because of health reasons, due to the radiation from tritium lume, even if the radiation should be very low.

It’s rather unfortunate that the dial was changed...
But maybe it was done to avoid any water condensation or remnants thereof given that you mentioned some water entered into the watch. Be that as it may, rejoice for having such a great watch and a keeper! Thanks for sharing the story!

It seems that they also changed the hands... BUT there is a solution: Hunt a set of hands and a tritium dial!
