Hello Max!

I’m very glad to add to the longest live thread in watch collecting history! Cheers! 🍾🥂

I remember when you started posting pictures of your great collection. It was picture and picture and picture behind picture. Everybody was like hey! What’s up with this guy? What is the story behind all those watches? Everybody wanted to know more about you and your watches. Then I started to see kind of a pattern. I thought “well, obviously this guy has a great collection that he has amassed through many years and he wants to share, but he’s short on time”. Then I took several sabbatical years away from the Purists and I just came back to the joy of this wonderful fora and I’m very pleased to see that you started interacting and answering questions more and more every time. Several great moderators here comment from time to time, and you have developed your very own way to post and share. Kind of a simbiosis (I’m a biologist btw). And I love it!!!

So being my first time posting in your thread, I wanted to say this and congratulate you for your persistence and love for sharing your treasures with us.

Also I like that you actually wear all your watches! And that is great. Enjoy them in full health for many years to come.
