Seiko SPB 153 crystal alignment?
Hi all, I've been enjoying your conversations for quite a while, now coming with a question:
I recently ordered a Seiko SPB 153 new at a good price. Wearing it on a 10 Euro nylon strap it's the most comfortable watch I ever owned. After a week I noticed that the crystal sits a bit higher at 12 than at 6. Normally this is not visible at all, I can feel the difference though when gliding around the circular edge with my finger. I'm just wondering: Should I be concerned that the crystal isn't fully in place and it could potentially affect water resistance? I'm enjoying this watch a lot and would only go through the bothersome process of returning the watch if I knew this could be a functional problem in the future.
any opinion will be much appreciated!

There is a plastic seal, so there is most likely no funtional impact. If it bothers you, the pressure test and exchange of the seal is something any watchmaker can do in less than 15 minutes. Would be a but more sustainable than scrap and get a new one. C...
