My interest for this watch was born thanks to all the attention it received by enthusiast on this forum, but I never had any hopes of sourcing one given limited run. Then one day I passed a Seiko dealer on my way home from work and to my amazement they had one available for sale in the window. Needless to say I grabbed it as fast as I could and never looked back. Its a great everyday watch and I enjoy wearing it as much in a professional capacity as on more formal occasions with a brown strap. Its funny to see peoples reaction to the fact that its a “just” a Seiko when I’ve received compliments on the watch!

I went to order a Seiko cocktail starlight with power reserve for myself and got the opportunity to get the Presage enamel which was reserved for someone else . Will share posts with you next week!

Yeah I didn’t like much the original strap. I even prefer the cheaper Presage Starlight Cocktail’s strap !
Went to the AD to check, they had it...
And I made sure that changed They are quite disorganised, though - 2 times out of three they forget to get in touch

Placed order/deposit with US seiko boutique dec 9, 2017 (seiko announced/released watch on dec 7, 2017) and still waiting as of March 19, 2018...
Was told that boutique allotments were based on orders with deposits placed up to some unknown deadline date, after which no more orders were accepted... with this background, NYC boutique had 40 pieces and Miami boutique had 13 pieces "guaranteed/allotte...
Beauty/Price ratio is very high
