Craig, Connery, Moore..
Not so much the actor but the movies they appeared in..
Craig in Skyfall. Loved the opening in Quantum of Solace and Spectre. Loved the ending in Casino Royale.
Connery in You Only Live Twice. That’s Bond in Japan after all and who doesn’t love that car scene where a heli swoops down with that crazy big magnet?
Moore in Moonraker (that space fight scene), The Spy Who Loved Me (Lotus!) and The Man with the Golden Gun (Scaramanga!) - the Moore series was probably the most entertaining and memorable as I grew up in the 80s after all.
Ok, also liked Brosnan in whatever film that was where Rosamund Pike appeared

I think he looked the part but

Totally agree..
Fleming IMO was not a great writer...the credit goes to the film crews. Amazing set design by Adams fabulous styling, dialogue and acting.
He wrote for the 50s middle class and that imo quite good.
I have all books at home, but only read 3 so far...

Somehow...i thought abt the new JB seamaster and voila, it shows up in it’s splendour -one with a very diff take on a seamaster. It seems to be designed ground-up for the role, instead of the cosmetic changes on many previous models. I like this model too...
They have moved away from having too much commercial/007 things on both watches
plus both these are worn in the movie, hence it appeals to me.

Only he can pull off the difficult nuances of character which the other actors may struggle with. He is a complex Bond.

Connery Daniels Lazenby Dalton Moore Brosnan - And Brosnan was not bad!
Because Skye Fall is to me the best Bond movie, it has to be Craig.
Casino Royale was great, too. Before Craig it was certainly Sean Connery. Maybe each is the best for theire generation?

...step ahead of law and not just maimed outcasts living in alternate universe- typical bond villian. Too easy/stupid targets to antagonize any form of govt. Although their selection of Henchmen was always commendable.

Is the most handsome Bond in a classic British proportion. Looks like a knight, even knightier when he was old. I like his style of comedy.
Dalton seemed most realistic of all Operatives. SC was most envied I wud say due the macho factor. He wud come across as MCP today and get 'Canceled' in mins. DC adapted to signs of time..

My problem with him was the comedy and eventually the age. Half the time I was expecting the hench people to ask him if he was OK and did they hurt him...
RM doesn’t look combat ready
He looks more of a gentleman from a polo club or an old retired officer from the navy with arthritis. But he is special in his era-defining acting in that character, with the laid-back appearance and good luck (he always seems to come out unscathed)
Tough one
Roger Moore and Daniel Craig for me. If I had to choose one; I’d need more time, a bottle of good whiskey and see some of my favorite Bond movies.

I think that while the movies may not be the best and his acting may not be the best (both for me go to Daniel Craig) I really think that he epitomizes the fun of James Bond and the romanitization of James Bond. So they are very opposite in terms of style...

I watched them all. I rmbered that PB once said in an interview that he is a shy person, and if you’d find him in the supermarket, he’d often look lost.
PB is so polarizing
I grew up in that era after SC, so I was exposed to Bond through PB’s interpretation. I think that could have skewed my preference. Imagine if SC were placed in the modern Bond, with all the high tech graphics and CGI, he’d be even more of a hit.

Always liked Pierce Brosnan very much, even though
some of his lines, were by his own admission pretty cheesy. Daniel Craig came along and pretty much stole the show. Pierce Brosnan will always be my favorite however.
