Heard this today here in Kuala Lumpur, his hometown. Very sad here and heart felt sympathy for his wife and children. He was full of life.

Never meet Mr. Schnyder in person, but I truly admired his work! He leaves a personal stamp on all of his creations; and a daily smile on my face - like no other in figure in the watch industry! My deepest condolences to his Family and the U.N. Team! Palm...

I am so sad.

I was deeply deeply saddened by his passing. It came as a real shock to my best friend Nic and I when we received the sms by Bernard. We decided to make a video tribute for Rolf. It was really difficult.

Very sad moment for the whole industry that over the last 12 months, we have lost many important leaders: Nicholas Hayek Sr., Luigi Macaluso & now ROlf Schnyder... My condolences.
