Hi Graham,
It has a hinged case, at 12 o'clock. There is a extended tab at 6 o'clock, and by lifting that up, one is able to see the hands on the reverse side. Not necessarily the most practical timepiece for reading time, but cool to look at, and quite possibly a wonderful conversation piece.

i was looking in the UN websites archive section and saw the Skeleton model number 141-28. it looks fabulous, but i see no hands so have no idea how it works. someone please enlighten me as without hands i cant cope(freak excepted of course)
