Ulysse Nardin

I was told the enamel series is also discontinued...

Hello Marcus and thank you for that post. I recently traded e-mails with a fellow who had just bought a blue enamel dial San Marco Chronometer. He told me that the US sales manager for UN had indicated that the enamel dial series (I do not expect this includes the cloisonne models) of San Marco watches has ceased production. In fact, the buyer told me that he'd been informed that he bought the last blue dial model available in the US.

This all sounds a tad fanciful, but I have no reason to doubt that this buyer was actually told these things. I wonder, as head of a household that enjoys two blue dial San Marcos, if Nardin have, in fact, ceased to produce them. There was something said in this series of e-mails about the expense of producing the dials being too great.

If anyone can shed light on this topic, please do so.

Best regards,
Brad
