Hi Mitsu, well learning about watches is not something you can handle in short period in fact i believe many of them here have been very experience over the years and still learning everyday 
Anyway a book about wristwatches will be a good start,learn about the mechanism and the terms and types of watches...be it tourbillon, chronograph or a perpetual calendar and so. At the same time in the book, you should also get to know more about the brands out there. There are so many brands but not all are the real refine ones, you shall learn to identify them Keep in touch with purist and you will learn faster. Cheers.
