Awesome work

You've posted 7 times- and this is only your 7th? And you come here to show us this?

Bravo sir.

It may be rough- but you can always finish more. You've done more than most have now.
I thought of a 6497 the second I saw this. I see I wasn't wrong. You had solid carbide gear
cutters made- I don't know of anyone doing that. Where did you go that was able to make
such exacting cutters profile ground in carbide for something like this? Not many people
specialize in pantograph grinding stuff that small, but I could be wrong.

Never heard of anyone cutting dead hard pinions like this with carbide cutters- very
unorthodox method. It worked though.

Very cool- what grade of titanium did you use for your cage? I thought of using some
6AL4V ELI I have laying around- but thought finishing titanium to horological polish
standards might be a special nightmare.

We demand a detailed post on this one. Give us the whole story. You can't just show
up with a handmade tourbillon and not give us the whole story!
