We discovered this Datejust in Granddad's belongings (he passed away in 2005 at 91). I can't tell what year it is (I'm new to horological meanderings), but it has a band with hollow links and is stamped "U.S.A." on the clasp. Perhaps it's not real? But it does keep time for nearly 2 days (I took it off on Monday Oct 5th, and found it stopped on "7" when I returned from a trip yesterday). Regardless, it was his and that's most important to me. The crystal is scratched up -- he was a Texas rancher and wore it while working. I'm guessing it could be polished somewhat.

The Hammerhead is very nice ...
A way too flashy for my discrete taste but I love it. The M 22mm is a very nice lens. I tried to replace it with a 40mm (with the amazing expensive adapter) but is not that nice for my style of wrist shots. Cheers, Nilo
