Your knowledge in so many diverse areas of interest astounds me.too long to list here , but a very cultured person indeed. So with horology, I am sure you would have read up about Panerai history and know their model lineup.I like the brushed finish on case and the polished bezel and the fact that the chrono pushers are integrated very close to case so the profile of the Luminor case is maintained.The dial is matt black. The first of my Panerais.

This ad, I have not seen before. A Swedish ad. Interesting to see what they cost 1960. They had movement 290-294. 291 was probably the most common and that is it with dates. Sometimes the date is placed at 3. But I prefer at 12 Regards Anders

a very heavy watch and for the small wristed, I will say not the most comfortable by a long shot BUT.... for those few minutes, I guess comfort is not on the mind

I got it with original bracelet and price tag (400 usd ) - couple of storage marks - otherwise perfect, I just do not want to resize barcelet so it went on the band Funny story I got 2 of them last week - this nos and one other - this other unfortuantelly...
