Do you never run out of ideas?
That's almost unbelievable... 😁
Yes, it is indeed the case that the dial of a watch is a very important element for a purchase decision.
And the most important for me.
If there's something that bothers me or I don't like (even it is the smallest detail), I can't buy this watch.
When I look at my fortunately still manageable watch collection (my aim is to actually wear every watch I own), there are a few dials that stand out for me.
There's the complexity and yet excellent legibility of my IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Rattrapante in Platinum with its wonderful blue lacquered dial in various shades.

Or, in contrast, my perpetual calendar from Moser in the version “Purity” (limited to 50 pieces worldwide) with its very reduced but powerful design.
The dial has a very dark blue dial (almost black) which is very difficult to capture photographically. Most of the time it looks black.
What I particularly like about this watch: its wonderful date window. I hardly know a watch where this is - for me - solved more beautifully and tastefully. What made me very happy on the night of February 28th to March 1st: the date changing took place instantly within 2 seconds after midnight.

Then there is my wonderful grail watch, again an IWC: namely the minute repeater in platinum. The calm, romantic, classic design of its dial with this warm, partly “creamy” silver tone is unbeatable.

Of course, I mustn't forget my latest acquisition, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer in RG. Your current “Wristscan” cover picture of your beautiful steel version was a reminder and an incentive here. ☺️
THE eye catcher of the watch is a grade 5 titanium earth plate in the middle of the dial. The view of the earth has been laser-ablated to create a blue ocean and leaving a relief of the continents where the contrasting colors of the earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction and lead to a realistic, three-dimensional impression.
The exterior section of the dial includes a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), blue (for the destinations where you have to add 1 hour in summer) and Sedna gold (places without daylight savings).

What always captivates me is the absolute reduction and purest purity that my 721 Anonymous radiates.

And finally I have to conjure it up again.
The “watch of the (last) week” Corum Bubble X-Ray is completely crazy and an absolute exotic piece in my collection. Limited to 88 pieces worldwide this watch has a special meaning to me, especially reminding me that life is precious and needs to be honored accordingly.
The skull literally hovers above the dial. You get the feeling that this skull keeps looking and smiling at you from every angle. The lume effect isn't bad either.

And now I'll stop before I show any more dials. After all, I don't want to spam you! LOLLLL
All the best and HAGWE!
Cordially, my dear friends here
Thomas
