I personally did it because of it´s beauty...that´s it! I like implants and the way they feel and look.
Most people do it for extreme individualism or sex (of course different positions).
I have a magnet implanted in my finger tip and that is more functional and gives you some sort of magnetic "vision"...and more are in progress...we´re now working on programable implants where you can start your car with or open a door with but these are still in prototype-state.

as they have such historical significance in Horology and even space travel. funnily enough i know where there is a lovely and original Spaceview that would look good on your wrist i love the hands od the Wittnauer, but i dont know if i want another batte...
Why not the Accutron Astronaut?
It "humms" like a bee and adds the GMT complication. Someday I "capture" my daughter Bulova set and post here. There are some interesting watches there. Cheers

i had 40 tuning forks at one time Nilo including 3 versions of the Astronaut, but all i have left now are 2. a 1960 14kt Alpha and a 1972 original spaceview. the astronaut is great, but very overpriced. G

Hi Nicolas, the "cities" disc rotates in sync with
local time once set, no recalculating required. It also has water resistance to 50M and comes with spare parts! The big manufactures could take a lesson on both fronts. This was a cool idea, lots of very interesting watches this week. Best to all, Tim

The seconds hand is actually coated with a secret lacquer
process. It is a light shade of black. I didn't capture the sheen it gives off, really have to see it in the metal. I am still working with my new camera, rookie mistake. Best, Tim
