Definitely one of the watches on my list for the first serious chronograph, which brought me to this forum 5 years ago 😉 The race was won by the Chopard LUC Chrono One but I still regularly check out Millenarys. Sadly never had one on the wrist yet 🤷🏻‍♂️ ...

First off, I know this is not original. This watch started out many years ago as a 1981 16014 datejust with a fluted bezel and yellow Buckley dial. That I kept in my collection mainly due to it being my birth year. Then 3 Christmases or so ago, my wife wa...  

... about this piece notwithstanding it has a non original dial. A fun piece with a lovely gesture of your wife and a good reason to smile when viewing it on your wrist. As a matter of fact I tell you I have been looking after an Oyster Perpetual or Datej...  

Sometimes taking things less seriously goes a long way towards making life enjoyable 😉👍🏻

And I certainly agree with you - fun can be had at all ends of the spectrum 😉 Even the whimsical Seiko 2220-0630 Playboy branded watch came with quite surprising features, such as a hand wound hi-beat movement and for the time a very rare palladium plated...
