I was very touched with your reference to your Dad. I can fully understand your feelings and it is so nice you keep those memories of him and his favorite watch.
You did well getting this new watch from Omega. I have seen it in the metal and it is breathtaking. Its presentation box is also a work of art.
The rubber straps are a nice option to have for swimming and diving though it is very comfortable with the original bracelet as well, the watch is very lightweight indeed.
I wish you´ll keep enjoying your Tantalum SM so much and that it will keep reminding you of your Dad.

You are right Shemmir. That is really the first Connery/Bond watch. Not easy to identify during the first scenes of Dr No but there it was before his Submariner was evident later.

Lighter I bought earlier this year. I was just fixing shoes at the cobbler and noticed he sold this Zippo 007 too. I’m very happy with the trimetal. Will try to put it on a rubber strap in a couple of days time. Have a good day Nico.
